color:#003366'>Two Major Projects in Mission Valley Underway</span> <br>

Have you seen them yet? More than $3 million dollars worth of projects are now
under construction. These two projects have been high priority projects for the
River Park Foundation, so we are very pleased to see them underway. <br>
<br>
One of the projects is a nearly one mile extension to the San Diego River
Trail. The extension will connect to the existing three miles of trails along
the River to Dog Beach. The project is scheduled to be completed in late
summer. <br>
<br>
The second project is a nearly 5 acre restoration project. The removal of
non-native plants is nearly complete, and the second phase will involve
planting the area with native plants to restore this important part of Mission
Valley Preserve. Our thanks to the San Diego River Conservancy for their
support of this project which is being lead by the City of San Diego. <br>
