Because of the 5(?)-percent grade, it's easy to ride westbound at the posted construction zone speed limit of 25mph, but most of us mere mortals have to work hard to exceed half that speed eastbound. I generally avoid the area simply because I can easily and conveniently do so, but the few times I have ridden through, motorists have generally been cooperative and patient. <br><br><div style="font-family: times new roman,new york,times,serif;
