12.0pt'>Too bad about Tom's incident. He has been very supportive AND a regular
bike commuter, though I don't recall whether he has been the beneficciary of
any Road 1 or other training. <br>

I hope this doesn't sour him from continuing. <br>

I've been through there a few times but not during the morning commute hours.<br>
<br>
Ideals for improvement?<br>
<br>
1) Making the angle of the right turn to be more severe so that motorists would
have to slow down more in anticipation of the sharpened turn? ... though it
looks to be 90 degrees now... <br>
<br>
2) Installing lane markings to indicate the straight through and right turn
only lanes sooner and more disctinctly... maybe with those square dashed lane
lines that indicate a lane is separating?<br>
