Greetings, Friends.  The San Diego Ride of Silence is this Wednesday, May 21st, at 7 p.m.  We meet on the corner of India Street and Washington Street in the Middletown area of San Diego.  (Just across from El Indio's -- North of Downtown, South of Old Town)  Bring a black arm band and a light.

P.S. Unless an unlikely favorable physiological miracle occurs within 48 hours, it looks as though I will be unable to lead this ride.  I injured my back and have been barely able to walk upright, let alone ride a bike.  Anyone else want to lead a group of quiet, slow, somber cyclists riding single file through the streets of San Diego?  We normally only ride about 8 miles.
