[SDCBC] Fairmount-Montezuma, was Re: What were they thinking?

When that intersection was reconfigured into its "parkway" format,
we/SDCBC unsuccessfully fought the plan, and later the bollards that
were used for a while to mark the shoulder stripes at the northbound
gore. The City Traffic Engineer/Dept Head at the time stated to City
Council that this design would be safe for bicycling... :-(

Worse, the consulting traffic engineer on the project argued with me
that bike lanes were appropriately striped to the right of RTO
traffic; that from NB Fairmount to EB Montezuma.
Worse yet. even though there are sidewalks, how in the world is
someone to cross?

But, Mark, don't you have the NB/SB directions reversed? The two
lanes WB from Montezuma peel off to NB Fairmount don't they?
