I find it interesting that the website juxtaposes advocacy for totally separate facilities, which I consider physically and economically impractical, with the statement (which I accept) that bicycling on freeway shoulders tends to be quite safe.

It occurs to me that unless we can get everyone out bicycling we won't get very far in our efforts, ie the young, the old, the frightened, etc...  Most people on this list probably fall into the die-hard bicyclists category, but it's everyone else that we want riding, as well, correct?
