[SDCBC] A good opinion piece in Voice of San Diego this morning about Pershing and the I-5

With at least one fatality and several recent injuries, do we stand any chance of getting this thing re-engineered a bit, or at least re-striped or traffic-calmed in some manner? The design of the ramp and the crosswalk is fundamentally flawed. A bike lane to the left side of the diverge might help, but pedestrians would still be up the creek.
