[SDCBC] A Quickie Road 1 in San Diego?

I have been approached to get a Road 1 course done between now and 
July 6th for the central San Diego area. Note that there is a Road 1 
scheduled for July in Oceanside, but for pretty good reason I'll help 
try to get a late June, early July one organized for "down here."

.... a fellow and his 20+ son want to help organize something to meet 
their needs and they are out rounding up candidates. The format is 
pretty wide open at this point - what days, times, etc. all will be 
flexible to accommodate those who will participate (minimum six to 
qualify as a FREE course under the SDCBC grant from the City of San 
Diego/SANDAG) and the instructor, probably me and Kevin Baross.

If you are or know someone interested and willing to work out days 
and times to fit with several others, contact me directly.... name, 
contact info, days and times you could or could not participate.

Parameters for course meetings:
Minimum nine hours
Could be two, three or more meetings
Hours on weekdays and/or weekends
Locations - prefer Normal Heights area. That's generally south of 8, 
west of 15, east of 805 and north of El Cajon Blvd.
Minimum registration, six. Fewer number of students would mean no 
grant subsidy - $50 per student w/ four minimum.

PS, there are other LCIs in town certified to provide instruction who 
offer training and/or courses at different times or fees. All 
currently LAB certified instructors are listed at the League of 
American Bicyclists web site... www.bikeleague.org
