[SDCBC] Do it yourself? Re: Need bike shop recommendation

I don't mean to take work away from bike shop "wrenches" but many 
bicycle maintenance and minor repairs can be pretty easy, quick and 
worthwhile to accomplish on your own... if you don't mind doing some 
mechanical stuff.

The SDCBCs Road 1, 2 and Commuter courses cover some stuff. There are 
lots of books on the subject of course - some available at public 
libraries (if you can find one open and staffed after the mayor puts 
budget cuts in place!) .... and I just found an on-line resource for 
tutoring at http://bicycletutor.com/ .

Has anyone found anything better on-line?... or have comments about 
the content of this one?
