[SDCBC] Need bike shop recommendation

A friend is looking for a bike shop for repairs somewhere along his route.
Any recommendations:

I only live a few miles from my office in Scripps Rance so getting there's
no big deal, and I can only ride to work on days that I don't have to drop
my kids off at school.  However, I do see other opportunities to leave my
car parked.  My girlfriend lives in Mission Valley and so I drive down there
at least 3 times a week. *
