[SDCBC] Q re bike parking near convention center

There was one bike on the rack when I locked up my bike around noon - late
start, oh well, better to spend the extra time with the kids. That one bike
was still there when I left around 7:30. I'll be riding again tomorrow, it
is a much better option than paying $15-20 to park that close.

Riding in street clothes and old running shoes (I used a set of pedals with
toe clips on) was totally different than what I'm used to - but also
perfectly fine for this event.

Thanks for the tip about that lot. I did notice plenty of other bikes
locked up to rails outside the convention center, but not sure I want the
high traffic parking spot. At least one was without a saddle - rather by
design or just someone using the quick release and taking off with it, can't
tell.
