[SDCBC] Pet peeve: suddenly ending bike lanes on high speed roads.

Actually that should be the case... and I do agree, it would provide
some warning to cyclists. But I would also like to see some
indication to motorists that I am going to be moving over. This is
a 50MPH road... and traffic often moves faster on weekends.
The dashed lines might give enough warning that perhaps my
outstretched arm may work to serve as the indicator to
motorists. Better than what exists now... just an abrupt end.
At any rate, I forwarded my "graphic solution" to the street division.
You know I probably wouldn't be ranting about this as I have been
riding that road for years and years (I really enjoy the nearly flat
route and fast pace down Kearny Villa Road). But recently on an
early Saturday, I was quite surprised by the reaction of a couple of
Edco trash trucks to my left lateral shift with my outstretched
arm... I had to pull in my arm as the darn things went rapidly went
by... Not a good feeling.... especially as the other two lanes to
their left were empty.
