Good points, Pierre.  But the whole point of Dan and Brian's webpage is that
you can accomplish the same effect as having a trailer or riding two abreast
even riding solo sans trailer by using lane position appropriately.  here is

I also remember reading an essay by someone named Myke (from Florida, I
believe) about "riding big" or "riding large" some years ago, basically
making the same point, but I can't find it online now.
