We are thinking about promoting Pedal to the Park (I believe in May) after Bicycle to Work Day at our company, DivX.
If there are any posters or some such thing we can hang up that would be wonderful.
Thanks

SundayApril 6th will mark the opening day of the Padres Bicycle Parking Pavilion(BPP) in the shadows of Petco Park. The BPP was created byorganizers of a unique cycling event we call Pedal to the Park (PTP) - aninclusive event created to celebrate and enjoy the social and recreationalbenefits of cycling for all ages and abilities. With the stimulus of PTPand the encouragement and expertise of the SD County Bicycle Coalition, thePadres have decided this season to expand BPP service for cyclists to everySunday home game. April 6th will be the first of 13 'Cycling Sundays at Petco Park'for the 2008 season, offering a green and healthy alternative transport forfans to ballgames.
The BPP will be set up at the foot of Park Blvd. We expect there tobe a few media folks covering the first day. It would be great if a fewbicyclists could be there to show their colors, demonstrate the BPP operation, and tout the benefits and related themes. The Padres 'Green' and 'ChildAnti-Obesity' initiatives would resonate nicely in this context and setting.
Even
if you can’t attend the game, come on by to tell the Padres that they’re
doing a good thing! The game starts at 1:05.
