One of my most delightful bikes, "BeBop", is a small-wheeled single speed I
made from a BMX frame and long stem/seatpost. At 15lbs., it is my
simplest, easiest bike to just grab&ride, and I really enjoy that
simplicity sometimes; no gears, one brake, let's just pedal and go.

It's also the easiest bike to throw in the car for short trips; and it fits
in a garment bag for airline travel (it's almost indestructable). I think
many people would do well with a simple bike; especially a small-wheel one
that could hang in the closet when not in use. I even thought about
marketing it at one point.
