Coalition Members,

We have inaugurated a new program on the Coalition web site to 
highlight roadway problems that impact cyclists.  On the "photos" 
page we will show photos sent in my members of places where action is 
required to repair road conditions that represent a hazard to 
cyclists.  We will shoe "before" and "after" photos to check our 
progress in getting things fixed.

Here is what we must do to make the program work:
1.  Identify and photograph the hazard
2.  Notify the appropriate governmental agency responsible for making 
the repairs (see out "resources" page for the phone number to call)
3.  Send your photo to me (your webmaster) at tlettington at san.rr.com 
along with your real name and a brief explanation with the date of discovery
4.  Follow up with a photo of the same spot when (sad to say, if) 
action is taken and send that to me also

I'mm hoping this program will result in some improvement in road 
safety for all cyclists.
