Bicyclist Dies After Being Hit By Mercedes

SAN DIEGO -- A man was killed late on Wednesday night after being hit by a car 
while he was riding his bicycle.

According to police, the man was riding his bike on Black Mountain Road just 
after 10 p.m. Investigators said the man ran a red light at Kearny Villa Road 
and was hit in the intersection by a man driving a Mercedes. He never regained 
consciousness.

Although the man was rushed to a nearby hospital, medical workers were unable 
to save him.
