there are seven pictures of the accident scene at the 10news.com web
site, which is up the hill to the south of the 56 freeway.  the curve is
not very sharp.  it appears that aren't any "no parking in bike lane"
signs on that section of carmel country road, and it is legal to park in
a bike lane in california unless specifically prohibited.
