Subject: Question about cyclist injured in hit and run

 

Hi,

 

My husband and I are trying to find out about the status of a cyclist who
was seriously injured in a hit and run accident on the southbound coast
highway near Solana Beach last Saturday morning (10/20).  We don't know the
extent of his injuries.  The incident was barely covered by a few TV
stations, before the fires took over the news.  The Sheriff's Dept.
apparently was looking for a silver or grey vehicle, based on paint chips at
the scene.

 

Anyway, if this person eventually needs someone to run errands, etc, we
would like to help.  But we don't know who he is or how to find out about
his situation.  

 

If you have any ideas, please let us know.
