Glad to hear from former "lurkers."
But, I have wondered for some time why it is that, since bicyclists
have the same rights and responsibilities as motor vehicle operators,
we on bikes must operate single file while traveling with friends (or
anyone) when motorists may travel/sit sometimes with three people
side by side! And, most of the time a motor vehicle in use takes up
all that space for ONLY ONE PERSON!
So, what happens when I outfit my bicycle with something to expand my
necessary space? What's to keep me from using a bicycle that needs a
six-foot wide space - well, other than the excess weight and being
unwieldy... and the likely road rage to follow me. ;-(
