Sorry -- free only to a “car-free” or car-lite Bicycle-Commuting family
with a handicapped child. (Please pass the word to others.)

Older ReTrike (by ReBike) semi-recumbent trike w/ heavy-duty,
small-adult-size rear passenger seat for handicapped child.
12-speed, good design, heavy duty steel, big cargo basket, some rust, rides
well, will deliver.

Thank you for your thought and consideration. And thank you for bicycling!

One often hears that some road or region is too difficult or hostile for bicycling. Yet cyclists with training in Advanced Traffic-Bicycling™ live in most of these regions, and ride most of these roads.
Please understand that it’s the training that makes the difference. Just reading on the web is not enough. Studying 'Bicycling Street Smarts'™ from cover to cover is a start; reading 'Effective Cycling'™ as well is a minimum; and then also taking all 3 levels of 'Advanced Traffic-Bicycling'™ classes (about 27 hrs. total) is best.
No, it isn’t perfect. Even with training there are still some roads worth avoiding. Life still happens; as cyclists, we are more exposed to it, good and bad. But this training helps make the bad roads useable, and the bad drivers manageable.
