[SDCBC] bicyclist fatality on SR67 @ Poway Road

The details are not in yet, but there is breaking news that a bicyclist has
been hit and killed at SR67 and Poway Road. The Coalition has been working
for several years to get the City of Poway and Caltrans to post "no parking
on the shoulder" signs or provide a parking lot for Iron Mountain trail
users at this location so they do not park on the shoulder of 67. I hope the
bicyclist was not hit while riding in the lane to avoid the parked cars on
the shoulder. If they were, I hope the victim's family sues the pants off
Caltrans and the City of Poway for dragging their feet on this project.
