The official difference between a paved park path (which is what I 
assume is the path that is referred to around Lake Miramar) and a 
bike path is that a bike path has been built to comply with the 
standards for bike paths, the other name for which is Class One 
Bikeway, and so appears on the city's or county's bicycle 
transportation plan or map. If it was not so built and does not 
appear in the official records as a bike path or Class One Bikeway, 
it is not a bike path.
