Hi:
I ride that section most every day. I have seen the ROAD WORK AHEAD BIKE
LANE CLOSED Signs but I didn't realize they were closing the bike lane because
of the less than perfect pavement. The pavement is not so great but if they
closed every bike lane with similar pavement, well you can guess the rest.
Yeah, the pavement is not so great but it is certainly rideable, I am 215 lbs
guy 59 years old riding 700C x 23's, I figure if I can make it, most anybody
can.
The biggest problem IMHO are the Bike Lane closed ahead signs in the middle
of the bike lane forcing one into traffic momentarily.
