After a bit of landing gear collapse as Now Defunct Airlines' DC-9 
stretch made contact with the jetway, giving those prepping to deplane 
early (in a stretched DC-9, an exercise even more futile than in most 
jetliners) a nasty lurch into a range of hard and soft objects 
(including other passengers), I am one of those stay seated and belted 
types.
