Not long ago I posted on this list a request to have the vision blocking
weeds on the dangerous Rose Canyon S-turn trimmed. It was done within 2
weeks. (Another success story. :) )

Possibly this trimming can be placed on a regular schedule.

And yet, the Rose Canyon Bike Path has one of the worst blind curves in
the county! Each time I use it, I vow that the next time, I'm gonna'
carry my hand saw & lopper and trim that darned tree that blocks our
vision. (Of course, I never remember...)

The blind curve is at the bottom of a smallish valley. From both
directions, north & south, cyclists can gather up some moderate to high
speed. The path then turns quickly. On top of the blind curve, water
often floods the path and leaves behind a large amount of dirt which
dries and becomes powdery which only adds to the danger. More than one
time, a serious accident at this location has been reported on this forum.
