If the earnabike.org bike kitchen gets going, I speculate patchable
tubes in otherwise good condition would be welcome there...?

I'm bummed to hear that B&L can only take tires...I end up with more
tubes (most with multiple patches that finally fail in some unfixable
way) than tires or so it seems.  Although, the amount of material in
the tires is obviously greater.
