Dear San Diego Cycling Community,



As many of you probably already know, one of our long time members, Marc
Carpenter was killed after being hit by a car last Friday evening while on a
training ride on highway 67.

l.  Please join us for a Memorial Ride in honor of Marc on Sunday April
22nd, at 9:00am.  The ride starts at the same place as our Saturday ride, in
front of U.C. Cyclery in the La Jolla Village Square, 8715 Villa La Jolla
Drive, La Jolla, 92037.



Marc's Memorial Service will be held this Saturday, April 7th, at 2:00pm at
El Camino Memorial Park, in Sorrento Valley.
