[SDCBC] KUSI filming bicycle commuters at UCSD

The UCSD Parking and Transportation office has arranged with KUSI
for some publicity for the alternative transportation options
and support at UCSD.

They need cyclists (hopefully bicycle commuters) to film for
a news spot.  They'd like to see cyclists pedaling by, and
some stopped, available for interviews by Rod Luck.  I've agreed 
to be available for an interview.

If you're interested, and wish to be interviewed, they'll need
your name.  If you're interested, and don't wish to be interviewed,
you should still RSVP to me or Sam Corbett (scorbett at ucsd.edu), so 
we know how many to expect.

The filming is scheduled for Thursday, April 5, 2007, 7:45am, and
they're asking that people be there no later than 7:30am to get
set up.  The location is the turn-around area at the north-east
end of Mandeville.

Yes, KUSI was told about the Breakfast for Bicyclists occuring at
the same time down at SIO.  However, they chose the Mandeville
site anyway, presumably because of the activity of shuttle busses
as a preferred backdrop.
