SDCBC Announcements for December 10, 2007 - Volunteer Night, Holiday Party,
New Perk for Members and a Big Thank You!

 

Volunteer night this Wednesday, December 12. Don't miss the fun! We'll be
folding newsletters and swapping holiday bicycling stories and having
holiday treats from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Standley Recreation Center, 3585
Governor Drive. Hope to see you there!

 

SDBC Toy Ride - Join the San Diego Bicycle Club for their annual ride with
Santa! Bring a toy to donate and join the fun. See www.sdbc.org for more
info.

 

Bike Kitchen looking for volunteers - The Bike Kitchen in City Heights will
be starting new hours in January - Sundays from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. The
Kitchen needs 'Shop Stewards' to help people during those open hours. If you
have some time to volunteer and some skills to share, please contact Jenny
at working_girl1912 at riseup.net. 

                                                      

Coalition Holiday Party Wednesday, December 19th. A low key celebration of
the season, with food, drink, conversation, and fun! At the downtown office,
740 13th St, Suite 220, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. We'll have a bit of a raffle
(can you say 'free prizes!'?), and a nice time, so don't miss it! 

 

New Coalition Perk! Coalition members now have free use of a donated bike
travel case. If you would like to reserve the use of the hard sided case,
simply send us an email and we'll put your name on it. The only catch is
that you have to bring it back with a sticker from where you and your bike
have traveled! Thanks to Dave Fege for donating this top of the line bike
case to the Coalition!

 

Thank you Cyclo-Vets! San Diego Cyclo-Vets has made a $1000 donation to the
Bicycle Coalition to continue our advocacy efforts. Thank you Cyclo-Vets for
stepping up and helping the Coalition be a stronger voice for bicyclists!
