This is the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition mailing list. The SDCBC provides this list-server/forum for open discussion and information about bicycling and bicycling conditions in the San Diego region. The opinions expressed do not necessarily coincide with positions of the Coalition. Official positions of the SDCBC may be found at http://www.sdcbc.org/about.htm#what Arguments about some subjects have been heard and heard and heard. Please limit venting and re-venting your personal opinions about helmets, mirrors, facility types, "bents" versus "wedgies", critical mass rides, etc. The following is our specific Acceptable Use Policy (AUP): 1. No solicitation, i.e. - NO SPAM 2. Nothing against the law 3. Do not share the email addresses of members with *ANY* third party 4. Restrict postings to bicycle related topics of interest to members of this list. Stay "on topic"! Subscribers are on this list because they are interested in cycling, not because they want to hear opinions on politics, religion, etc. 5. No "flames" or "rants" - remember, you are talking to the entire membership. If you want to argue with another member, contact the subscriber off-list. If you violate 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5, out you go. Using SDCBC
To post a message to all the list members, send email to sdcbc@bikesandiego.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to SDCBC
Subscribe to SDCBC by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
